Family Farm in Hamilton County, Home on Watts Bar Lake to Sell at Auction

A family farm in Apison and a lake home on Watts Bar Lake will sell in separate court-appointed auctions Thursday, Aug. 25, with the Chattanooga office of John Dixon & Associates managing both sales. Both properties will sell at absolute auction, with no minimum or reserve bids.

The 53.5-acre farm will sell at noon at the property on Old East Brainerd Road, Apison, in Hamilton County. The auction was ordered by a court to settle the estate and divide it among heirs."This is a really pleasant lake home, with a porch extending the entire length of the house," said Dixon. "It's a court-ordered auction with no minimum bid or reserve, so there's a possibility somebody will get the property at a really good price."John Dixon & Associates, based in Marietta, Ga., is a leading auctioneer of bank-owned properties throughout the United States.
